Make Sourdough Goods Part of your Everyday Life
Sourdough bread has become increasingly popular in family homes over the last few years. The art of baking with sourdough dates back thousands of years and has been used by many generations. In fact, sourdough starters were handed down from generation to generation. Sourdough can have many great health benefits for those who consume it. It is rich in dietary fiber and prebiotics. Due to the natural fermentation process, sourdough has better nutrient absorption, making it a healthy alternative, especially for those with gluten sensitivity.
You will quickly realize that sourdough is not only for baking bread, but also for making sweet treats, pasta noodles, and gnocchi. You will no longer reach for yeast packets, as your starter eliminates the need to use them. Sourdough baking has become the norm for so many, allowing families to eliminate the purchase of grocery-store-baked goods and offering a healthier, cleaner food source.
