Hands-On Farmhouse Sourdough Workshop
You are comfortable with making bread and desserts, yet, you’re looking for something more. Could it be a healthier bread option for you and your family? One that is easy to digest, high in antioxidants and vitamins, contains less yeast, and is a healthier choice for those who are gluten sensitive.
The art of sourdough making does not have to be a complicated process. Once you have taken this hands-on workshop you will step into your kitchen with the confidence to make practical and easy sourdough breads, desserts, and breakfast items. Soon, you will be able to replace bread products purchased from your local market for a healthier and better-tasting option.

The Simplicity of Sourdough
No commercial yeast? No problem! Cut another item off your grocery list by incorporating wild-yeast Sourdough into your kitchen. I know any googling of Sourdough can lead to overwhelm, given all the methods and baker’s percentages, and use of scales. Over the course of the last 3 years, I’ve learned how simple Sourdough can be, and how to incorporate freshly baked bread and other delicious baked goods into your already busy kitchen.
Join our workshop to learn:
- What a Sourdough Starter is, and how to sustain it
- Ways in which you can use sourdough “discard” in your everyday kitchen
- The process of making the dough for a simple Rustic Sourdough Boule
- Learn recipes for Sourdough English Muffins, Sourdough Crackers, Sourdough Waffles & Sourdough Bread
- Sample Sourdough Goodies
- Take home your very own (and very healthy) Sourdough Starter
